Introduction:
Japan Maps for Garmin GPS (English) is based on the digital map 200000 (map image) and the digital map 50000 (map image) published by Geographical Survey Institute, Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport, JAPAN with its approval under the article 30 of Surveying Law. The Author, Makoto Endo has made this more detailed map, for the central area of Japan, in English to help people who may find it difficult to use the Mapsource Japan series that are all in Japanese language.
These maps cover the central area of Japan, especially, Tokyo and Kanagawa prefectures. Expressways, major roads, major railways and stations, rivers, parks, etc., are all included. Points of Interest(POI) information, such as Halls, Landmarks, Subway entrances, Hotels, Museums, etc., are also included.
